Halifax, Novem. 13th, 1782.

Sir:

The Waggons which were sent to New Bern for Stores have returned without any Coffee and only 72 lbs. Sugar which quantity is

so small that I cannot spare any. I shall the first opportunity send the powder & Shot you wrote for. In a few days Shall send for Camp all the Continental property I have on hand, and expect to see you at Hillsborough about the last of this month.

I shall also send in a few days to Mr. Hunt for the Waggon & Team which is in his possession and will thank you to give orders for the same to be delivered, if an order may be necessary. Inclosed is a Note on Capt. Armstrong for seven Dollars which I will thank you to receive and place the same to my credit.

My family are well and desire their compliments to you & yours.
