Description | This map shows Parkway Land Use in Moses H. Cone Memorial Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The map was designed by T.K.P.-W.D.L. in July of 1952. The map shows buildings, roads, woods, lakes, parking areas, pastures, and other details of the area. Privately owned lands are labeled with their borders and owners' names, including Glenn Teague, Lloyd Coffey, the Shearer Estate, and the Snyder Estate. Buildings are labeled and described in a legend in the bottom right corner. Budlings identified include laundry and wool storage, houses, stables, barns, a boat house, garages, a bathhouse, and a manor. |
